MountCase 2 by TigraSport Review for iPhone 6 Plus
I received this product for free for my honest opinion. My opinions and my review are my own and receiving this product does not affect my review in any way.
Today was a beautiful day after the cold, unpredictable weather of the Midwest; I was finally able to get out of the house with my little guy. He loves his walks in the stroller, and I love the walks on beautiful days for the exercise, and it is so therapeutic for me too. Enough about us, let’s talk about the MountCase I used on the stroller.
I have a Graco Classic Connect Stroller, and I used this Mounting Case right at the top by the handles as you can see in the picture.
I also have the iPhone 6 Plus which I always keep in an Otter box case; my phone never comes out of the case, I have a destructive toddler that will be happy to throw my phone around and try to eat it as well. Parents, you know how that it is! I took my phone out of the Otter box case and put it inside of the MountCase, and just seeing my phone in a new case as I did, I instantly wanted to throw away my Otter box case (that looks dirty, damaged and chewed up) and replace it with this MountCase. I loved the look and feel of my phone in this case. The case is very durable, yet soft and flexible rubber. It has a composite construction to the case, and I love that. The case truly is durable because after I removed my phone from the mount with my keys in hand and my baby in my arms, I asked my son if he could hold my phone for me and he threw it on the ground in the driveway. The phone is excellent, no scratches, cracks or nothing. It was just as safe as if it were in a full over protective Otter box case. It has all of the necessary openings for the charger port at the bottom as well as the headphone input as well. The sides have the protection of the power button and volume buttons. It also has the opening on the back of the camera. The entire phone is covered including screen and backing, so you are all set to use this case on an outing.
Now let’s get to the mounting part. I had a difficult time figuring out how to remove the straps on the mount. It comes with two straps, for flexible mounting. I finally figured it out, and it is difficult to remove, however, you really have to pull the strap up, and when you pull it through the slot forcefully like you have to, it feels as if you are going to break the strap, so far it has not broken, but I think with continued force like that, that it may. Once you get the hang of adjusting the strap of your preference, all you have to do is set your phone onto the mounting with a turn and a click. It is that easy, and you just put it around whatever you are going to use, and you fold up the strap and adjust it for tightness just like you would if you were wearing a watch on your wrist that’s how easy it is to use. This is not only a case for moms or parents who use strollers, what I love about this mounting case is you can use it for anything! You can mount your phone on your shopping cart when your shopping to have an easy look at your grocery list. You can use it on your bicycle for a bike ride and listen to some motivating tunes. You can use this while you are working out! Yes, you can even mount your phone on yourself! You can also use this to mount your phone in the car and use it for GPS or like I do and use it for Pandora. So yes the uses for this case are unlimited, and it is worth a purchase if you are like me and you bring your phone everywhere you go.
