I found this recipe, and I am not sure if it is the real deal Neiman Marcus cookie, but this cookie is too good! Perfect crisp around the edges, yet still so soft and chewy! I will be making these many more times to come![the_ad id=”398″]
When I bake I like to have all of my dry ingredients and then mix in the wet ingredients, although you can bake the cookies however you like, I will list all dry ingredients first.
Everything you will need:
- 4 cups flour
- 5 cups blended oatmeal
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 cups softened butter (For better results use real margarine)
- 4 tsp. vanilla
- 4 eggs
- 24 oz. chocolate chips
- If you like chopped nuts, you can also add to your liking 🙂
- 1 Hershey’s Chocolate bar (grated)
Ok so first things first, measure the oatmeal and put in a blender and mix until the oatmeal becomes like a fine powder.
Next, add all of the dry ingredients
Then you will whisk all 4 eggs and add vanilla into the mixture, drop this mixture into all of the dry ingredients
Next, add the softened margarine on top and begin to mix everything in the mixer.
While everything is mixing add your chocolate chips and nuts if you desire 🙂
And do not forget the bonus of the cookie (the grated Hershey Chocolate bar)
Mix everything up for a few minutes, roll them into small balls and place them about 2 inches apart onto an ungreased baking sheet
Bake for about 8-10 minutes or until light brown. Remove them and put on a cooling rack and walah! Delicious Nieman Marcus Copy Cat Chocolate Chip Cookies!
Please feel free to comment if you enjoyed the cookies or not. I love and appreciate all honest reviews! Also, please feel free to share the deliciousness however you like!
